Asia Pacific Vascular Society is formed in 2009. APVS is a Society of Vascular Interventionalists, Cardiologists, Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Vascular Physicians, Interventional Radiologists.

The Society is committed to research and education in the field of Vascular Diseases and to study the disease pattern in Asia Pacific region and other parts of the world and also to develop guidelines for their treatment. To achieve this, it provides a forum for Clinicians & Scientists to regularly meet and share their experiences and collaborate in research and education.

One of the main activities of the Society has been organization of annual Asia Pacific Vascular Intervention Courses (APVIC I – APVIC VIII)
